UniBroue Brewery Maudite amber ale 12 oz Y Brewed in Chambly Quebec Canada. Dark amber strong ale at 8%. Yeast in the bottle. Has a smooth malty taste. The strong alcohol taste is a distraction to me, but I am sure it will please others. Similar to a Scottish Stout.
Union Export Brewery Peter's Brand lager 12 oz Y Brewed in Breda Holland. God tasting decoction lager. Golden color. Has a taste of corn just like Red Stripe from Jamaca.
United Brewery Taj Mahal pilsner lager 330 ml Y From Bangalore, India. Nicely done typical pilsner lager.
United Breweries Ltd. Flying Horse Royal pilsner lager 1 pt 6 oz

Y

From Bangalore, India. Very nice light wheat beer. Does have a distinctive aftertaste.
United Breweries Limited Kingfisher pilsner lager 12 oz Y From Bangalore, India, since 1857. Very nice pilsner.
Urquell Brauerei Urquell pilsner lager 1 pt 6.3 oz N From Plzen, Czech Republic, since 1840. The original pilsner beer. Very high Saaz hops flavor leaving a sharp bite aftertaste.  When I visited Urquell the beer they served was much different.  It was fresh and maltyer.  The Saaz was spicy, but not overpowering.
Van Steenberge Bornem Belgian Double ale 330 ml Y Thick rich flavor. No noticible off taste from candy sugar. Rather Munich tasting.  8% by vol.
Van Steenberge Bornem Belgian Triple ale 330 ml N Syrupy strong and sour based lambic. Too much for me. 9% by vol.
Van Steenberge Gulden Draak Belgian Quadruple ale 330 ml Y Syrupy strong and sour based lambic. Better than Bornem. 10.5% by vol.
Van Steenberge Bruegel Belgian amber ale 330 ml N Sour lambic taste. 5.2% by vol. I didn't like the taste.
Van Steenberge Augustijn Belgian double ale 330 ml Y Well balance and not too sour. Rather liked it. 8% by vol.
Vellkypopvice Kozel Czech Dark Beer amber lager 500 ml Y From Popovice, Czech Republic. Very good warm feeling foamy dark beer. Very much in the tradition of the Deutsch dunkels of Munich.
Weihenstephan Bayer Staats Brauerei Kristall Weissbier filtered pilsner lager 500 ml Y Rich premium wheat beer from Freising, Germany. Oldest brewery site in the world. Since 1040.
W.H. Brakspear Brewery Henley Ale amber ale 330 ml Y From Henley on Thames, England. Rich malty amber.
Warsteiner Brauerei Warsteiner weiss ale 355 ml (12 oz) N This beer since 1753 comes from Warstein, Germany, the house of Cramer. Claims to be Germany's #1 seller.  It was not appealing to me. Slogan is "Eine Konigin unter den bieren" - the queen of beers. This is an extract beer and it lacks character because of it.
Watney Truman ltd. Red Barrel ale 12 oz Y From London, England. Red amber ale contracted out for Watney.
Whitbread Brewery Traditional Pale Ale pale ale 12 oz Y From London, England, since 1742. Good British bitter.
Widmer Brothers Czech Pilsner wheat lager 12 oz N From Portland, Oregon. Very poor over hopped flavor. So far from anything Czech it's insulting.
Young's Special London Ale English bitter ale 12 oz N From London, England. A very heavily hopped and therefore, bitter beer. Not in a nice way. I can't see anything "special" about it.
Young's Brewery Ram Rod ale 500 ml Y From London since 1831. Rich dark ale. This one was starting to go stale. Had a good round taste. Made at the Young's Brewery in Wandsworth, Southeast London, site.
Yuksom Brewery Himalayan Blue lager 650 ml N From Malli, Sikkim, India. Extremely weak, light flavored lager beer. Not very tasty. The flavor of the spring water from the Himalayas is the taste. The barley malt is gone.
Zhejlang Qianjiang Beer Chung Hua light pilsner 12 oz Y From Zhejiang, China. Very light good tasting pilsner beer.
